Random Things in my Kid-Infested Home that just Make Sense

I posted on TikTok & Instagram a quick tour of my kid-infested home and a few of the most useful mom-items I enjoy. Here are a few links to some of my favorites.

Quick disclosure: As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. And I thank you for your support!

First up we have the drop-down Keurig Cup storage. It doesn't matter how big your kitchen or coffee nook is, storage is always at a premium. Plus this shit is just nifty. It was four screws to install and I've adored it. I kinda wish it held more K-cups but I'm not mad about it.

Next is the extra-long baby gate from Regalo. It is insanely easy to install and the company sells various lengths and extenders. I use mine across an eight-foot opening. The gate and lock mechanism has held up for nearly two years. Granted my crotch spawn are not tiny Houdinis but I've been pleased with the durability versus two toddlers, a devil-may-care teen, and a rhinoceros for a husband.

My shower stool came from the almighty Target. I love it. It doesn't take up a lot of room and, for the most part, stays where I put it. No slippy-slidey. Did I tell my husband it was for shaving my legs? Yes. Do I use it to sit my tired ass down in the shower? Also, yes.

My vintage trash can was originally a TJ Maxx find. And if you've ever shopped TJ Maxx, you know what was there yesterday is not there today. So this is the nearest equivalent to my vintage-style garbage receptacle I could locate so you don't have to do the digging.

And a final recommendation on my favorite coffee. While one lone K-Cup appeared in the video, it's just because I'm currently waiting on my next shipment. Brooklyn Bean Roastery is, hands-down, my favorite mom fuel and everyone who likes coffee (and Keurig) should try it.

And that's it for this go around. Hope you enjoy this shit. And maybe some retail therapy too.
